Same Day Emergency Treatment

In a dental emergency, you need to get treated as soon as possible - that’s why we reserve time in our schedule for emergency patients. While some oral injuries can wait for a regular appointment, others require immediate attention. Dental emergencies include:

• Severe cracks in the teeth
• Large pieces of the teeth missing
• Nerve damage of the teeth
• Teeth knocked out
• Severe tooth pain, as from an abcess or infection
• Tissues injuries inside the mouth
• Bulges or swelling of the mouth or gums

Always call us if you think you may need emergency treatment. Our staff can advise you about when to come in and what you should do in the meantime to preserve broken teeth or reduce your pain.

Accidents and injuries can happen at any time, so consider having a dental first aid kit handy with the following:

• Small container with a lid
• Gauze
• Tissues or a handkerchief
• Acetaminophen, to take with your dentist’s direction
